Vi-Spring Bedstead Mattresses can be used on bedframes where the supporting slats are positioned with a gap no larger than 6cms. A Vi-Spring support pad is recommended to provide extra support between the mattress and slatted bedstead base and also helps to protect the fine material of the mattress cover.

Upholstered with a wool spring protector pad, then 1,000 gsm bonded British fleece wool and cotton, plus 1,200gsm long-stranded Austrian Moosburger tail hair blended together with wool, enclosed in hairproof cambric cover and finally overlaid with 900gsm blended real Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton. Covered with your choice of finest quality Belgian ticking from the Vi-Spring collection. Hand tufted with felt washers.
Mattress Border
23cm deep with three rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Horizontal handles - 8 on 150cm sizes. Air vents on all sides. Border edges upholstered with coir and wool. Finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Springs
Double pocketed spring system with 1.42mm wire springs 60mm diameter sewn in individual cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs. Available in Soft, Medium, Firm & Extra Firm tensions giving four comfort options.
